I love Bandit! Reminds me a little of my dog Charles, who came to us all beat up and blind. He’s a real tough guy now and bosses the whole house around. You know, like chihuahuas do.

Glad you’re on the mend!

A cracking read, Alex! Glad you were well looked after - we are so lucky to have the NHS. That cake looks superb, by the way 👏😍

I can relate on the kidney troubles… but one of the best natural remedies I’ve ever found has been the easily obtained ‘Chanca Piedra’ - Stone Breaker - which is an herb that grows in Peru.

If you scan the Chanca Piedra comments on Amazon, you will be amazed by all the appellations of ‘this is a miracle product’ - ad infinitum. People even show photos of their kidney stones, with pride. People swear by it and how Chanda Piedra has helped them. All 100% natural & safe to take for months on end…

Anyhow, wishing you best of luck… and the new book looks delicious. But do take care and don’t work too hard!

As ever, a highlight of the week.

Such joy in your parade!

Feel better soon, and make sure you get an extra special egg for your brekkie from The Girls.

Hugs ✨

So sorry you had that awful experience but I am so glad you are getting better, and I loved your description of your stay and the lovely people you met. You are so right about our being so lucky to have the NHS and the wonderful people from all over the world who work there. I also loved the news about the hens and the sneak peek at your new character - and the picture of your grandad and the photo of your garden. I love the seed packets - you are inspiring me in so many ways! I hope you feel completely better asap!

Thanks for your kind words about our NHS…it means much more than you may imagine.

Hope you’re now pain free and convalescing nicely. As the old lady mentioned ‘take good care of yourself’. x
