Getting to Wednesday is always worth celebrating—and never more than in January! Try some hardy cyclamen (with perhaps some trailing ivy) with the winter pansies mentioned above? (Laurel aka ground.elder.park on Insta)
I'd use hardy cyclamen. Gotta match a red to the hearts on your scarf though. Infact, you should use the whole box colour scheme to match that glorious 😍 scarf of yours! Happy Sunday and thank you for my first Pigeon Post...my daughter's going to love reading it too!
Happy cozy time! The Gaurdian article reminded me of a fun little book called Quest of the Warrior Sheep. I’m sure those sheep had more going on than just browsing!
I live in Ontario Canada and listen to BBC 6 and BBC 3. I love the Shipping News, not sure why I do but there you have it! I found this a delightful read, thank you.
I always did some ornamental kale in the winter. We save a fancy hot chocolate advent calendar for January and it’s been such a fun way to keep the cozy vibes going and to have something to look forward to on chilly nights.
I loved the article about Tim Walker's house too, and that sleeping dove is so lovely! It would make SUCH a good collage if my daughter hadn't cut up all my collage paper this morning... pen and pencil!
I definitely need a T-shirt with the legend - Fat and Sassy!
I too keep the twinkly lights going during January until the light returns. It is perfect to keep the January blues at bay. The cold greyness needs to be balanced with warm cosy lights.
It's Hygge time with sumptuous blankets and warming drinks.
I would definitely get a ticket to your Winter exhibition- I too enjoy the stillness and vibe of Winter over a too hot summer, but I do love the balance of our seasons.

Santa Sheep, pearl dove, turkeys fleeing the axe.....it's utterly delightful 🥰
I love your 'dog sleeping' drawing. That blanket is so clever! Getting all those squares right with the angles of draping 😲😲😍

As ever utterly glorious to read your despatch Alex. Try some winter pansies 🌸
Floppy tulips! Yes! XXxxx
Such a joy every week! Thanks so much x
Howabout... tucking some hellebores into the window boxes?
